2016 and 2017 are two very important years for the medium term future of Seat. In 2016 the Martorell firm began marketing the Seat Ateca, the company’s first SUV, a car that should have arrived several years earlier but, after all, better late than never. In 2017 they will put in commercialization the fifth generation of one of the most important models of its history, the Seat Ibiza, and also a new B-SUV called Seat Arona.
These three cars next to the Seat Leon will form a very powerful team, which will foreseeably bring new customers to the Spanish brand. We remember that until less than a year ago Seat lived practically of the Ibiza and the Lion, two models that are very sold but in the end, they are only two models. So let’s hope that with four cars focused on different audiences the sales figures improve even more.
It seems that the designer X-Tomi Design is keen to see some new member more in the range of models of the Spanish firm and that the new offensive of Seat is not short precisely. X-Tomi has dared to design a very passionate model that seems to derive from the Audi A5 Coupe. The seat currently has no similar aesthetic car and does not seem to have any plans to venture into this market where general brands have little to do with premiums.
The designer has taken the silhouette of the Audi A5 and has been integrating the usual elements and features of the Seat models such as LED headlamps with that triangular shape in daylight, calender, the low shape of the bumper, The exterior mirrors and the usual low profile tires used in the Seat Leon Cupra. But not only has remained in a coupe model but also has made an image of how you would see a convertible variant.
You can forget, we will not see a Seat coupe in this style.
