Chrysler is the third North American company by sales volume. This brand, currently owned by Fiat has had different ups and downs throughout its time. In 1998 it became the property of Daimler, who divested itself of it in 80% in 2007, until finally in 2009 ceded its shares to the company owner, Cerberus. In 2009, with the controlled bankruptcy of the brand, Fiat, and more specifically Sergio Marchionne went on to lead the baton.
